Quarry Hill Primary School offers a vibrant and engaging art program for students from Prep to Grade 6.
Students participate in activities including drawing, painting, printing, textiles, animation and sculpture to build their artistic skills. Creative thinking is developed through the design process, master art challenges and team work.
Students are encouraged to explore, imagine, experiment and express ideas, themes and observations in their art classes.
We look at significant artworks from a range of cultures and times to analyse colours, materials, symbols and ideas to reflect on and interpret meanings.
Our program offers the opportunity to exhibit and present student artworks to a range of audiences through school newsletters, exhibitions, participation in the Bendigo Agricultural show and other competitions.
