Dear Parents & Carers
The 'Crew' program will run each Thursday for remainder of the school year. Crews entails 4 rotations, Bike Education, Gardening and Maintance, Dance and Movement and Kitchen Garden.
During the rotations student participate in an inclusive enviroment, build socail connections and develop and increased sese of belonging.
Kitchen Garden
The Kitchen Garden Program is a fun, hands - on learning program delivery pleasurable food education.With strong curriculum intergration and a focus on student wellbeing, collaboration and leadership, students learn to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh seasonal, delicious food- forming positive food habits for life.
Bike Education
The Bike Ed program is a program that gives students the opportunity to learn about safe riding behaviours, road rules and riding in a shared enviroment. Riding a bike is a life skill that helps students move about their local community, travel to school, build fitness, improve independence, and make socail connections.
Dance and Movement
The Dance and Movement program is expressive movement with purpose and form. Though dance, students express, question and celebrate human experience, using the body as the instrument and movement as the medium for personal, social, emotional, spirital and physical communication.
Gardening and Maintance
the School Garden has an important role in providing healthy food education to students and wider school community. It complements students learning as well as being an integral part of the school's educational goals. It is important that parents, teachers and students work together to support a whole - school approach to build a school culture in which students actively choose nutritious foods and a healthy lifestyle.
